Our high standards now set the scene for the most exciting and vibrant salon in Norwich.

We are a family business owned by Simon and Lorraine Gray, together with creative director and niece, Simi McGeorge, and managed superbly by Kate Christopher. Hairdressing is very much in the blood as Simi's grandma   (Lorraine's mum), had her own salons in London and was trained by the legendary Teezy  Weezy and Vidal Sasoon! She's still very much with us and an inspiration to us all, especially in her knowledge of retro styling. (see 'grandma's story')

We have a dedicated and talented team with experience in every aspect of hairdressing and committed to personal, individual standards of customer care.

Colour is one of our passions - we have a very close relationship with L'Oreal and use their Professionnel colours - and we pride ourselves in our skills and flair and imagination in this area of hairdressing. All  our qualified staff will always give a free face-to-face colour consultation,with a skin test, We understand that all clients have different desires and expectations and use different products and techniques to suit each individual.

We are very dedicated to styling and hair cutting and highly creative  in wedding and hair ups. Retro hair styling and cutting is another of our fortes - vintage is  'the look' of the moment.

Our staff  range from senior to post graduate stylists, again to suit your own requirements. Kate and Simi are our most experienced stylists having been trained to the highest degree and worked in very prestigious salons both within and outside Norwich.  They set the style and ethos  of  Hooloovoo to which the rest of the team aspire. 

Harriet has re-joined us after travelling in Australia and together with Emma are our dedicated, highly qualified salon stylists.  Between them they have a wealth of experience and knowledge and can offer a highly creative consultation service for clients seeking to change and update their image.

Rachel is a very talented stylists and continues to  grow and hone herr skills and is always enthusiastic in offering the very best service.

We have the cream of post graduates in the city in Lucy and Layla who have been with Hooloovoo since they were wide-eyed trainees and attended the JO Academy and also received dedicated, ongoing and rigorous training within Hooloovoo. Both Layla and Lucy have recently won awards in trainee competitions, of  which we're very proud. 

We now have 3 new trainees joining us to take their places at the wash basins - Jasmine, Jodie and Lauren (who has been with us for work experience through her school for the past year).  They have a lot of work to do as Lucy and Layla are hard acts to follow....

And, as we've grown so much in the last 3 years, we now have a full-time receptionist, Carly, to meet and greet you and make you feel very welcome.

We give all our services with flair and creativity in a calm, friendly and very happy place to be.  We look forward to welcoming you next time you want the best there is!!

We are also one of the very few salons in the City - maybe the only one? - that uses totally disposable Easydry hair towels. Every client is ensured of a new, fresh towel for every step of their visit here. We believe our customers deserve the very best and this is just one of the ways in which we do make a difference.
